How long have you been DJ’ing for Hed Kandi and how did you first get on board with them?

"I’ve been playing for Hed Kandi for over 3 years now, it all started when I was the resident at the Opera House in Bournemouth and got asked to warm up for the Hed Kandi nights there."

"It means fantastic music and some of the best parties you will ever go to."

What’s your favourite Hed Kandi album or series, and why?

"Beach House if forced to pick one, I can remember djing in Ibiza last summer and getting ready for my set with the latest mix in the background and it set the scene perfectly."

"Really exciting to be at the first Hed Kandi venue, and what an incredible set up with the bar, dancefloor, chill out area and a beach – need I say much more??! "

With Hed Kandi Beach Bar and MoS both running successfully in Hurghada, Egypt – do you think we could be talking about a serious clubbing destination, either at present or in the near future?  If so what else is required?

"Definitely as Hurghada expands especially with the new Hed Kandi venue and the marina developments, I see no reason why it won’t continue to set up as a leading world class clubbing destintation."

"Absolute quality."

How was the actual club-night you played at?

"Great crowd, up for it party and a pleasure to play!"

How did the crowd differ from your normal clientele?  Their response, musical preferences etc?

"Great crowd – yet another superb night for Hed Kandi."

Which are you best three clubbing cities / countries worldwide, and why?

"Brazil for Carnival, Ibiza for its heritage, and Egypt as you’re about to have one of the best outdoor clubs in the world!"

Best gig of all time, either as a DJ / punter, and why?

"Such a tough call! Too many to mention, however if I have to pick one it would be my residency at the Opera House in Bournemouth – happy memories."

Can you tell us some of your musical influences?

"Right across the board, house, jazz, classical, soul and DnB. Names that stand out include Miles Davis, Ben Watt, LTJ Bukem and DJ Meme."

Future events and projects in the pipeline?

"Just set up my own production company (theboyinthecorner ltd), lots of studio projects on the go and continuing to give 100% to my gigs."
